John Deere Gator XUV 825i Specs
John Deere Gator XUV 825i Specs welcome to our website for the latest compact tractor reviews, ratings, prices and comparisons. John Deere has posed the challenge of the Carolina Adventure World in Winnsboro, SC, by bringing their 2011 Product media presentation There to test the boundaries of all their new side-X pages. One of my favorite models at this event was the 825i 4×4. The representatives said it was the fastest, most powerful gator yet. Of course “reached” this comment my interest. Therefore, when the tests started, I went straight to this machine and strappte me for a great test run.
The employees of the Carolina Adventure World had set up a very extensive trail pattern for us. Unlike many test courses, there were no limits to the obstacles and challenges in the whole size. We had mountaineering, rock crawling, water transitions, sharp curves and long straightness where we could really open the accelerator.
The 50 PS strong 812CCM engine left very little to be desired when we went down the trail. It didn’t take long at all to find a place to open it up to its top speed of 44 mph. I was impressed by this speed from such a workhorse of a machine. Its three-cylinder, 4-cycle automatic motor has the most displacement and performance in its class. It also has an excellent low-end torque that occurred when we came to the first steep ferrata.
It would also be useful for towing and towing. The reps later explained how the advanced brackets and use of a tighter strap was part of what caused the faster acceleration, along with the two-range CVT, which also helps with low-speed tow. One aspect that I appreciated, even though we did not need it during this special drive, was the electronic fuel injection, which offers a better throttle reaction and starts in cold weather and higher altitudes.
The conquest of rough terrain is something you need to be able to do whether you work on the farm or cut it off on the trail. It is good to know that the 825i on-demand four-wheel drive is available at the switch of a switch. The 825i also has the possibility to have a lockable rear differential, so that the rear drive wheels work together for all places where the 4-wheel requires only a small additional thrust.
The independent double-Wishbone long-drive suspension in combination with 11-inch ground clearance made light work of all the obstacles we had on this extensive trail system. This combination also makes for a more comfortable ride, whether on the trail or on the farm. The full clutch housing also allowed us to pass through all water transitions without any problems. The representative said they recommend to avoid water lower than 22 inches.
One of the most common concerns of side-X pages is the instability factor. John Deere uses a solid core steel swivel rod and a double ball drop link to ensure more stability, reduce body tilt and ensure more durability in all areas, whether at work or when playing. The 825i is wide enough (62 inches) long enough (119 inches) and has a small focus to produce one of the most stable vehicles in its class.
While playing on the trail on one of the new side-X pages is a great adventure in itself, the aspect of working ability is still one of the main considerations of most UTV/XUV buyers. True to the John Deere reputation of the top-class vehicles, they have not missed the target even in this work.
The John Deere 825i 4×4 engine is built with heavy components such as an aluminum head, thrust bearings and a ingot with lacquered interior. To increase endurance under twisting and unscrewing on the trail or carrying heavy loads, the 825i frame is hydrogeformt and the A arms are made of cast iron to withstand the Jackhammer abuse of the heaviest terrain. As an additional protection, the 825i is equipped with a Vollstahlskid plate monitor. The body parts are made of scratch-resistant, technical polymer. These panels are malbar, so the John Deere XUV is always as good as it goes.
What is a work vehicle without large load possibilities? John Deere knows this and acts on it with one of the largest cargo boxes in its class with 45 inches in length, 52 inches wide and 12 inches deep with a 1,000 lb capacity. The support is a payload of 1400 lb and a towing capacity of 1500 lb.
The cargo box also has 20 tie points to facilitate load securing. You can also quickly convert the loading area into a flatbed area to transport larger objects. The tailgate in the pick-up style is easy to operate without all the latches and guards. The steel-reinforced bed and body protection ensures strength and durability for the life of the vehicle. It also has a support to make loading and unloading faster and easier. Loading facilities include a factory spray-in-bed liner and a power lift.
I liked the cargo-box, the exclusive quick-clamp system, which makes adding the attachments so fast and easy.
