The driver’s seat is adjustable and the tilt steering is standard.
“Available HVAC systems and pressurized cabins provide year-round weather protection, which provides cooler operating conditions in the summer, and heating capabilities in harsh winters and snow conditions,” says John Deere in a release. “The heating function also defrosts the windshield so that you can work efficiently. In addition, noise insulation and soundproofing in the cabin provide a quieter experience. “
As for the capabilities, the new John Deere Gator XUV835 and XUV865 can haul up to 2,000 pounds, carry up to 1,000 pounds in the bed and offer up to 16 gallons of storage space. According to Deere, the introduction of new units comes with new naming conventions. All XUV models are switched to an “E”, “M” or “R” label to indicate the performance and scope of the features available on each device.
“The Gator XUV835R and Gator XUV865R come standard with a climate controlled cabin with premium cloth seating, similar to your tractor siblings,” says John Deere. “With exclusive tan interiors, including premium sound dampening headliners, it’s our most convenient cabin in the Gator lineup. The R trim level also includes updated system ready wiring to provide faster installation of roof lights or other electrical equipment, plus the R models come standard with brighter, more durable LED headlights. “
