2018 John Deere 1025r
2018 John Deere 1025r welcome to our website for the latest compact tractor reviews, ratings, prices and comparisons. If you’re impatient, and want a quick recap, I’d like to summarize like this: “a 1025 R with bigger tires”. In addition to the more detailed discussion in this article, be sure to check out our video of the release day here, where John Doyle, Product Marketing Manager for John Deere walks us all the way around the new 2025r, showing US features Detailed from one end to the other.
As I said above, the new 2025r is very similar to the 1025 R. In fact, from my point of view, it is more similar to a series 1 than its largest framed by two siblings of the series. For the past few years, there has not been a smooth “upgrade path” for the owners of series 1. Series 2 has been obsolete, missing most of the creature comforts that we have come to expect from the John Deere line. 1-The owners of the series who wish to upgrade necessary to either sacrifice on things like the self-connecting bridge, inclined steering, upgraded seat, etc., or move all the way to the 3 Series tractor. This made the decision to upgrade difficult.
Deere began to solve this problem a year ago with the introduction of the large frame tractors of the series 2. The new 2025r complements this effort, providing Deere comfort and convenience features in all compact and sub-compact tractor models. The video (above) will show a good overview of the 2025r. So let’s use the rest of this article to show some of the similarities and differences to his larger and smaller siblings.
The 260B backhoe is compatible with the Mid-2017 1023 and 1025 R models and is equipped with a high-backrest seat, an integrated step on the stabilizer arm and a ROPS-mounted support handle.
Now featuring a protective rubber boot and a large, easy-to-read decal with installation and removal instructions, the 260B also has a cushioned boom cylinder and a new thumb kit. The built-in boom and swing lock pins and locks are operable from the operator’s seat, and John Deere indicates that the improved backhoe lock pins simplify the detachment and attachment.
The 120R charger has a lifting capacity of 754 pounds and a lifting height of 72 inches and provides operators with a tool that can be used in a variety of tasks. John Deere says that the 120R charger can tackle everything from moving dirt to carrying heavy materials like gravel, and it is compatible with the John Deere 1023 E and 1025 R compact tractor utility models.
Equipped with the John Deere Quik-Park mounting system, the company states that the 120R allows the operator to easily mount and remove the tool without tools. It also features a curved boom design for style and improvised visibility, with a new knee joint for better durability.
