Bring. 44 mph (71 km/h), 50 CH (37 kw) * XUV Gator825EFI ™ i gas utility vehicles are designed to do things, quickly. The seats of a team of two men comfortably and pulls through with a towing capacity of 4 tonnes. The XUV825i is also available with the power-assisted steering (optional). See Steering model of power.
The cargo box is large and spacious with more than 20 lashing points to keep things safe, and a rear-style pickup door makes loading and unloading easy. Also, when it comes to downloading, the cargo box lifts and overturns easily. The XUV Gator ™ crossover series has a vehicle utility designed with precision the transmission system that uses the full power of the engine, the optimization of the acceleration, the transport, the towing capability and the escalation. The power is transmitted from the engine via a clutch system continuously variable transmission.
The John Deere Gator XUV825i has a good curb appeal. The front grille and headlight settings have an aggressive automotive feel. The bed style tailgate and truck were very sturdy and easy to use and gave the machine a party at the front and the business in the back look. The position of the Gator has a hard look and black steel rims and the combination of tires add to that concept. Body panel style and glossy painting work gives machine a high-end finish and is very scratch resistant when the trail “junk” rubs against it. The door nets leave a little to be desired, but I understand that they are necessary. As a bigger boy I appreciate the spacious driver compartment. There’s a lot of space on the legs to get in and out. The center-mounted digital display was easy to read and understand and manual controls were easy to operate. In traditional John Deere fashion, the overall fit and finish on the John Deere Gator XUV825i was outstanding!
At first Blush you would think that the Gator is a working horse … and that it would be absolutely correct. The cargo box has 400 lbs and is almost four feet wide and almost a foot deep. It is made of a high density polymer so no worries about rust or the tools or load excessive noise rattling around in the bed. The bed also manually discharges and I was impressed how easy the bed overturns with one hand. When you add in the back door of the truck style the Gator bed became very versatile and can adjust to almost any work. Another great benefit that John Deere offers is a huge array of accessories that can help modify the Gator for any work scenario. In working situations I would call for frequent stops I was impressed with how easy it was to get out and get into the vehicle. The driver’s compartment has a lot of leg space on the door.
Occasionally, the nets of the door stood in the way as they entered the Gator. The towing capacity with the 2-inch hitch Receiver is 1,100 lbs. A strange thing with the model Gator XUV825i is the lack of a parking equipment. The gear lever starts at the top in high and then to the low-neutral-reverse. That basically means that when you turn off the machine you leave it in gear then engage the foot mechanically operated parking brake. The parking brake is located to the left of the brake pedal. The parking brake is a little awkward to participate, but it is easy to get used to. More importantly, the lack of a parking equipment becomes problematic in the inclinations. Without compromising the parking brake the Gator easily rolls downhill.
How the variable speed drive works:
As the engine speed increases, the spring-driven clutch is closed by the weights forced by the centrifugal force. While the drive clutch closes, the belt rides up to the largest diameter of the drive clutch and forces open the clutch driven. With the belt running in the smaller clutch diameter led, the speed being transferred to the transaxle is increased. The actuated clutch is designed to detect variable loads (inclinations, sludge, etc.) and constantly adjusts the drive speed up or down so that the RPM motor remains optimal.
